Camp Invention

Bryce stayed with my parents for a week for science camp: Camp Invention. This is year number two for Bryce at Camp Invention- he loves it! It's at the same school that I went to and the school where Abby attends. Abby went with him to camp too. It was from 8:30-3:30 everyday. Mom was so great- she took them everyday, made their lunches and made sure they had all the necessities for the day. Each day had a different theme- Bryce's favorite day was alien day. My cousin Amy came & helped mom get the kiddos outfitted for that day. The classrooms were set up so neat- one was a gadget garage where they could put on shows about their invention. Another room was a world that they had invented & all of its buildings that they had created out of recycled materials. Then they all invented one thing on their own. Bruce invented a balloon popper- it was actually pretty cool, you put the balloon at the top of the machine, then let it roll to the bottom, at the bottom was thumb tacks that popped the balloon- pretty neat. I'm so glad he got to go again because he absolutely loves it and was right in his element. My little brainiac at work!
